Bipolar Disorder and Suicide

That suicide is such a prominent feature of depression and manic depression says it all, I think. It is an illness that is utterly desperate and painful, and I think the quality of the pain is just impossible to describe. I have never read a description of depression that comes close to conveying the agony.
