CAPZA2, also known as A0417, is a capping protein that regulates the growth of the actin filament by binding to the fast growing ends of actin filaments. CAPZA2 is a heterodimer made up of an alpha and a beta subunit, both of which share 85% identity, and are the product of two separate genes.
