Discs, large (Drosophila) homolog-associated protein 1 (DLGAP1) is a scaffolding protein of the post-synaptic density also known as GKAP, DAP-1 or A0107.

Discs, large (Drosophila) homolog-associated protein 1 (DLGAP1) is a scaffolding protein of the post-synaptic density also known as GKAP, DAP-1 or A0107. Three known splice variants are expressed. DLGAP1 interacts with the guanylate kinase-like domain of the DLG proteins (1-4) and the PDZ domains of the SHANK proteins (1-3). It is most highly expressed in forebrain regions such as the cortex, hippocampus and olfactory bulb as well as the cerebellum. It is more moderately expressed in the other brain regions. Mutations in DLGAP1 have not been associated with human diseases and the gene has not been knocked-out in mice.
