The regulatory subunit 1A of the serine/threonine protein phosphatase 2A (PPP2R1A), also known as PP2A subunit A, PR65-alpha isoform or A0295, is a regulatory subunit of the serine/threonine phosphatase PP2A.

As for other members of this family, PP2A associates with a variety of regulatory subunits. The regulatory subunits interacts with the core phosphatase dimmer, composed of a catalytic subunit and a constant regulatory subunit. PPP2R1A functions as a scaffolding molecule for PP2A, directing the phosphatase specificity and intracellular localization. RNAi screening identified PPP2R1A as a modulator of the nuclear factor kappa-B (NFk-B)-signaling pathway in astrocytes.
