ADHD subtypes

Professor Philip Shaw introduces the three subtypes of ADHD: hyperactivity/impulsive subtype, inattentive subtype, and combined subtype.

There are three subtypes of ADHD; there is combined type, which has the full host of symptoms. So, children with combined type ADHD have symptoms of hyperactivity, symptoms of impulsivity and symptoms of inattention. But you can also just have symptoms of inattention, and they are called inattentive subtype, or you can just have symptoms of hyperactivity and impulsivity, and they are called hyperactive impulsive subtype.
